Dragon Players Privacy Policy

Effective 8 September 2026

Dragon Academy is responsible for the personal information used by the Dragon Players app. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to dylan@dragondevelopment.co.uk.

Information we use

How we use it

We use this information to provide and secure the app, connect families to the correct academy records, show player development, deliver coaching and educational features, send relevant academy notifications, provide support, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use the app for third-party advertising.

Children and safeguarding

Parent accounts control the information and features used for younger players. Player logins are restricted and linked to a parent. The app does not ask families to upload photos or videos of children. My AI Coach speaks to an authorised parent or coach and is designed for age-appropriate football development.

App usage analytics

We use first-party analytics to understand and improve Dragon Players. We record successful authenticated account activity, fixed screen labels, foreground activity and temporary session identifiers, together with platform and app version. These analytics records do not include names, messages, AI prompts or responses, precise location, advertising identifiers or persistent device identifiers. Existing game scores, XP, Learn progress and AI usage records also provide aggregate service statistics.

Only the authorised owner dashboard can access these aggregate statistics through our existing OpenAI Sites hosting. Detailed usage events are retained for 90 days and removed when the associated app account is deleted. We do not use this information for advertising or share individual player activity publicly.

My AI Coach

When My AI Coach is used, relevant player-development information and the parent or coach's request are sent securely to our AI service provider so the requested football guidance can be generated. Do not enter unnecessary sensitive information. AI output supports families and coaches; it does not replace medical, safeguarding or professional advice.

Subscriptions

Apple or Google processes store payments. RevenueCat helps the app confirm whether a subscription is active. Dragon Academy does not receive or store full payment-card details.

Who helps us provide the service

We use carefully selected service providers for hosting and databases, academy membership records, coaching records, notifications, AI generation and subscription verification. This currently includes Render, Wix, Notion, Expo, OpenAI, Apple, Google and RevenueCat where their service is used. They process information only to provide their service to Dragon Academy and are subject to their own security and privacy obligations.

Storage, security and international processing

We apply account controls, tenant separation and reasonable technical safeguards. Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom; where this happens, we use the protections required by applicable data-protection law.

How long we keep information

We keep app information only for as long as it is needed for the account, academy service, safeguarding, security or legal requirements. An account can be deleted inside the app. Academy membership, payment and attendance records are separate business records and may need to be retained after an app account is deleted.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of personal information, or object to how it is used. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Contact us first at dylan@dragondevelopment.co.uk so we can help.

Changes

We will update this page when the app or our providers materially change. The effective date above shows the latest version.
